Large open site near the sea and Doolin Pier.
Beware, we arrived on a Bank holiday and the access road from Doolin was rammed with cars parked everywhere including double yellow lines. Care and patience was needed.
On arrival park on the left near the barrier and check in. After booking in we were shown to our pitch by a young man on a bike.
You’ll have to hunt for a water tap but they are there. We emptied grey waste at the camper van service point.
There are a few seasonal pitches and statics but this is primarily a touring site with tents, motorhomes and caravans. Early in June there was a high turnover too.
The site is peaceful and well kept with some good views but very open with a wind blowing most of the time but at least it was warm when we were there.
The sanitary blocks are will fitted out and clean. A shower will cost you money.
From the site its a couple of minutes walk to the Doolin Ferry across to the Aran Isles. You can also walk from the site to the Cliffs of Mohr.
Many eating and drinking opportunities in Doolin. We ate at Russell’s Seafood Bar where the lamb and mussels did not disappoint.
We would stay here again.

Fraai gelegen camping, direct aan de oceaan, vlak bij de rotsen van Moher en de bergen van Murrooghtoohy North/Black Head waar je prachtige wandelingen kunt maken over karstplateaus!

Sehr schöner Platz! die Stellplätze sind sehr großzügig und Elektrik ist am Platz. Anfahrt für große Fahrzeuge nicht ganz einfach, geht aber.

Die Kinderfreundlichkeit konnten wir nicht beurteilen, hatten keine Kinder dabei. Wir waren als Familie mit 4 Personen hier im Alter zwischen 25 und 90 Jahren.
Der Laden am Campingplatz ist sehr übersichtlich sortiert, aber alles notwendige ist vorhanden.

insgesamt ein wirklich schöner Platz.

Take a ferry to the nearby islands and view the cliffs of moher from sea level.

Der Platz liegt nah an den Cliffs of Moher, deren Anfang man vom Platz aus sehen kann. Hafen mit Fähre und Ausflugsboot zu den Cliffs of Moher zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Doolin als Touristik-Ort ist toll, die Landschaft beeindruckend.
Parzellen groß und Stellplätze betoniert, Sanitär sauber und offensichtlich kürzlich vergrößert. Rezeption nicht immer besetzt, aber per Klingel ist immer jemand zu erreichen.
Unser Besuch war Anfang Mai, ein Shop war nicht geöffnet.
