This campsite is expensive. So you might expect something extra. Not. The biggest disappointment is the lack of a beach. That sounds crazy. The beach across the street is in the riverbed with a view of factories and boulders. Will we get sick from that? Nearby beaches are accessible but at least half an hour by bike. We could not find any extras that justify the prices for a plot. For example, there is no hot water for washing dishes. (3 of the 4 taps were also not working). The shade is moderate, but okay, there are awnings and such for that, but still. The suburb of Cadiz nearby is hip and developing. Would we recommend this campsite to friends? Absolutely not.

You get a site in a very windy corner of the camping. All the dust from Andalucia is blowing into and past your caravan. The worst is the syrriybdung if the camping. The The area where the campsite borders is hip and has potential. But then the beach. Terrible. If you want to swim between factories and boulders, not in the sea so without a horizon, then that is certainly possible. I am not looking for that. It is a 45 minute bike ride to the liveliness. We broke off the trip the other way to a beach and a coke in between. Nothing 13 minutes.

Good campsite with easy access to Cadiz by ferry and drive to nearby Sanlucar de Barrameda. Unfortunately problem insect bites experienced in tent area.

Stayed for 3 nights in April '23.
Really liked the campsite, very clean facilities and well cared for pitch. We were very impressed with Xiethytha on reception. (apologies for spelling!) We were away in total for 2.5 months and she was one of the nicest and most helpful people we met throughout our trip. So helpful with suggestions of getting into Cadiz, and what we could do whilst there. She, without doubt enhanced our holiday, a real gem. In fact all of the staff were lovely. I left my toiletries in the shower and the cleaning lady kept it safe for me.
We were also pleased to find the pool warm and open! Many sites, although had a pool - had not decided to open the pool.
Full marks for this campsite and their delightful staff.

Wir waren im Juni 2022 nur kurz auf dem Platz. Die Sanitäranlagen waren sauber, aber wegen einer Veranstaltung war leider kein Stellplatz mit Schatten verfügbar. Es wehte starker Wind und so schauten wir uns El Puerto de Santa Maria an. Sehr empfehlenswert.

this is our third time at Las Dundas and certainly not our last.
great campsite for long stays, 30 nights for us this time.
the staff are wonderful especially the ladies who keep the toilets spotless.
just across the road is a great beach for dog walking along with the coastal pine forest.
there is a supermarket within 5mins bike ride that supplies all your needs.

Friendly, relaxed yet organised campsite. Makes for restful stay that we extended because of the location and ease of access to city and local centre as well as blissful beach.

We spent 3days visiting Cadiz by boat. Cycling in thenational park, and enjoying ourselves

I agree that the pitches are a bit haphazard, but would be prepared to pay to stay again if they didn’t close the pool so early / the sun is still hot so I will give it a miss this year and stay elsewhere !
